Atlanta's Snowpocalypse 2011

Wow this storm was slow to get here, but when it got here, it was quick to blanket everything with a good 3-4″ of snow!

Feed My Starving Children

Peachtree Prebyterian Church, in Atlanta, GA, was host to a Feed My Starving Children mobile packing event September 10-12, 2010. The church originally planned for 225,000 meals to be packed, but after an overwhelming response by the congregation, added an additional 100,000 meals to the goal. It was met and exceded by more than 1,300 meals. The community packed enough to provide a meal a day to 894 children. All 326,376 meals will be headed to Haiti. These are highlights of the event.

Graduation

Again, terrible video quality. A little bit different than sharing projects I’ve worked on, this is a performance of mine, instead. This was taken from the 20009 Berry College Commencement on December 12, 2009. Song is Lord God of Abraham from Mendelssohn’s Elijah.

My first big project

This video was a collaboration between myself and my internship supervisor. She set up the lights for the one-on-ones and gave me some instruction for the video, but I came up with the overall concept of the final product and edited together. Filmed on a Sony Z1U and edited with Final Cut Pro.

Viking Vision

This was the campus news station’s introduction while I was an anchor. I didn’t really have anything to do with the intro, but I thought I’d share it because I was a part of it. This were recorded on S-VHS… but still not very good quality. I did eventually work with the production staff as a cameraman, sound tech and prompter. As an anchor, we researched our own stories and worked alongside the reporters for their packages.
